Risk Disclosure — read this first

Trading stocks and options involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. Options in particular can lose 100% of their value, often quickly. You can lose more than you intend.

Context is a research and analysis co-pilot, not a broker, and not a registered investment adviser. Nothing here is personalized investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any security.
Signals, grades, contract suggestions, theses, and backtests are informational. You make and place every trade yourself, and you are solely responsible for your decisions.
Backtested and simulated results are hypothetical. Past or simulated performance does not guarantee future results. Live results differ from backtests due to slippage, fills, fees, and market conditions.
Data may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. Do not rely on Context as your sole source for any trading decision.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Context ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms and the Risk Disclosure above. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service is

Context provides market analysis, signal generation, strategy backtesting, and trade-journaling tools. It may connect to your brokerage in a paper (simulated) capacity or, where you explicitly authorize it, to read positions. Context does not take custody of funds and does not place trades on your behalf without your explicit action.

3. No advice; no fiduciary relationship

Context is not an investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner, and using it creates no fiduciary or advisory relationship. Output is general information, not advice tailored to your circumstances.

4. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and any broker/API keys you connect.
You will comply with the rules of your broker and applicable law.
You will independently verify any information before acting on it.

5. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Context and its operators are not liable for any trading losses, lost profits, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. You use it at your own risk.

7. Accounts & termination

We may suspend or terminate access for misuse, non-payment, or to comply with law. You may stop using the Service at any time.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be surfaced in-app.
